Scholarships

APWA is dedicated to educating young students about public works and engineering related careers.  Each month, members of the APWA gather together to discuss topics and issues of interest among the members. As part of their dedication to the community, members of the Coachella Valley Brach are able to participate in events such as the annual Bob Ross Memorial Golf Tournament, and the biennial Vendor Show in order to help raise money for the scholarship fund.    Annually, the Coachella Valley branch is pleased to provide scholarships to local graduating high school seniors, who will be pursuing a degree from a four-year college/university with a major in public works, civil engineering, or other qualified related field.  Since 2004, the Coachella Valley Branch has awarded 88 scholarships totaling $207,000.
